As a founding member of the practice, Dr. O’Connor loves caring for and sharing memories with new generations of patients. Ask him about his favorite Dr. Seuss book and what he’ll always order for dessert.

Dr. O’Connor started Unionville Pediatrics in 1977 and we are so honored to still have his wisdom, experience, and guiding principles in the office today. Dr. O’Connor graduated from University of Notre Dame and received his medical degree from Rutgers University. Dr. O’Connor is permanently board-certified in general pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics and is passionate about helping adolescents struggling with mental health issues.

Here are a few things you may not know about Dr. O’Connor:

• He’s is all in for Notre Dame, a superfan if we’ve ever seen one

• He loves pumpkin pie any time of the year

• He is a Dr. Seuss fan but his favorite is a bit obscure - And To Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street

Dr. O’Connor and his wife Kathy reside in Farmington and have three grown children and seven grandchildren.
