Dr. Alyssa Buono is a warm and energetic pediatrician who brings her love of collaboration, problem-solving, and family-centered care to Unionville and Southington Pediatrics.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Tufts University and her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Buono completed her pediatric residency at the University of South Carolina/Prisma Health in Columbia, SC, and went on to practice general pediatrics in Richmond Hill, GA and Farmington, CT.

Dr. Buono is passionate about providing high-quality, accessible care in a supportive environment where both patients and providers thrive—and yes, she’s probably mentally solving an escape room puzzle at any given moment.

• She’s completed over 200 escape rooms across the country (seriously)

Dr. Buono lives in Unionville with her husband, Anthony (an endodontist she met in anatomy lab at UConn), their energetic toddler Jack, and their goofy golden retriever mix, Max.
